Stefan isn't the only one who is in this predicament. A survey by Cryptocurrency data firm Chainalysis says it all $140 Billion, which is approximately 20% of the world's 18.5 Million Bitcoin, couldn't be recovered and are lost forever. It justifies the increasing number of people asking for help from Wallet Recovery Services. Brad Yasan, a Los Angeles entrepreneur, who has been through this unfortunate situation says

I don't want to be reminded every day that, what I have now is a fraction of what I could have, that I lost'


He spoke to The New York Times- "I would just lay in bed and think about it. Then I would go to the computer with some new strategy, and it wouldn’t work, and I would be desperate again.’ Stefan then adds 'This whole idea of being your own bank — let me put it this way… do you make your own shoes? The reason we have banks is that we don’t want to deal with all those things that banks do."

Well, all we can do is pray for the recovery of his lost digital password and think twice before investing in cryptocurrency.
